Type

A smarter, planet-friendly alternative to plastic sponges. Made from wood pulp and cotton — abundant, renewable materials — cellulose sponges are biodegradable, home compostable and highly effective.

Cellulose is hydrophilic, absorbing up to 10x its dry weight in water, making it an excellent cleaning aid for kitchen, household and cosmetic tasks.

Care & longevity

With proper care, cellulose sponges can last indefinitely — typically around six months under normal daily use. After each use, rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely. To disinfect, soak in vinegar for five minutes and rinse, or put through the washing machine or dishwasher on a hot cycle. Replace when the sponge starts to smell or break down.

Disposal

Fully biodegradable and home compostable. Cut into small pieces to speed up decomposition before adding to your compost pile.
