Broad Beans Express - 40 seeds - Vicia faba - An early variety, one of the best croppers in cultivation. Strong growing plants that will stand windy conditions. For best results sow from February. By raising plants in a greenhouse or cold-frame the harvest can be 1-2 weeks earlier. Plant the seeds or plants in rows 60 cm apart with 20 cm between the plants.


Bean Climbing French Cobra - 60 seeds - Phaseolus vulgaris - High yielding easy to grow climbing french bean with round pods of excellent flavour. Sow seeds 5 cm deep from mid May when the soil has warmed up. Place poles or canes at 25 cm apart in rows 50 cm apart. Put 5-6 seeds by each pole or cane. Beans like to grow in a sunny, sheltered place. Suitable for greenhouse or outdoor growing.

Bean Climbing French Brunhilde - 60 seeds - Phaseolus vulgaris - Medium early variety with round purple pods. The beans turn green after cooking. High yielding, strong plants. Sow seeds 5 cm deep from mid May when the soil has warmed up. Place poles or canes at 25 cm apart in rows 50 cm apart. Put 5-6 seeds by each pole or cane. Beans like to grow in a sunny, sheltered place.

Bean Dwarf French Caruso - 60 seeds - Phaseolus vulgaris - High yielding, prolific bean for mid season production, very uniform. The pods are 17-19 cm long. Sow from the beginning of May when the soil has warmed up. Sow at a distance of 40-60 cm between the rows, 8-10 cm apart and 2 cm deep. Beans like to grow in a sunny, sheltered place. 

Bean Runner Desiree - 40 seeds - Phaseolus vulgaris - Heavy cropping, long stringless fleshy pods with a good flavour. White flowering. Sow from the beginning of May, put 2-3 seeds per pole or cane. Space the poles at 80 x 80 cm. Sowing depth 5 cm. Grow runner beans in a fertile soil and apply compost.

Pea Ambassador - 150 seeds - Pisum sativum - A well known garden pea.  Mid-season variety with 8cm long pods with a blunt ended shape.  Particularly resistant to powdery mildew and thus suited to later sowings.  Height up to 80cm. Sow mid to late spring. Sow the seeds 3-5 cm deep in rows 60-90 cm apart and 2-3 cm between the seeds. 
Double rows can be sown either side of support.  Harvest mid June to August.

Pea Grijze Roodbloeiende - 150 seeds -Pisum sativum -  A climbing mangetout pea, Grijze Roodbloeiende has beautiful red flowers. The pods become sweeter as they mature (when the peas are just visible). Plants reach 130cm high. Sow in March / April. It is important to sow sufficiently deep (3-4 cm) in order to prevent mice and birds from eating the seeds. Grow along a wire netting fence. It is possible to sow a row on both sides of the net. Harvest in June / July.
