We're now stocking the new range of Ansvar backpacks - both online and in our high street shop in East Dulwich. I'm making a mention of it here because it's the first backpack to be certified by both the Fairtrade and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) organisation. But, beyond that, it's also a very nice bag - a genuine product of an attentive design process. Functional too, to be sure, but it's good to see the balance between environmental awareness, practicality and aesthetic value being struck so well.
We've only got the initial designs in so far, which are the ones pictured above, but there are other styles coming in soon and in different sizes so keep an eye out for them. As always I'll make sure there's a mention here/on Twitter/Facebook when they arrive.
